Pool boiling and condensation - boiling curve. Introduction to two-phase flow -Definition, Methods of analysis,
Flow patterns. Flow models - Homogeneous, separated, Drift flux models. Flow through bends and restrictions,
chocking in two-phase flow. Flow boiling and condensation: Introduction to convective boiling and condensation,
flow pattern predictions, heat transfer and pressure drop in different flow patterns. Empirical correlations in two
phase flow, Critical heat flux and interfacial phenomenon. Multi - component boiling and condensation - pool
boiling.
