Roots of Equations: Bracketing and open methods as applied to thermal engineering problems. Solution of linear and non-linear algebraic equations, Statistical description of thermal data, Modeling of data, Boundary value and initial value problems of heat transfer (conduction, convection and radiation) and fluid mechanics, Numerical solution of partial differential equations of heat transfer and fluid mechanics. Eigen value problems.
